Private Celebrity Chef

 

 

Kevin “Chef Kev” Ashade is a Dallas native and Culinary Institute of America graduate. Born in Texas, Chef Kev spent his

 

early childhood in the U.K. and Nigeria before returning to the U.S. He graduated from The Colony High School in 2006

 

and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts management from CIA in New York. Chef Kev returned to DFW

 

and worked in a number of Dallas restaurants including Craft at the W Hotel, Nana at the Hilton Anatole and The

 

Oceanaire Seafood Room.

 

 

After recognizing a gap in the DFW private food service market, Chef Kev founded GourmEATS Catering Services in 2013.

 

He has since served as a private/family chef for a number of professional athletes and Dallas-based executives. He

 

continues to operate GourmEATS in Dallas and serves as a chef consultant for 1 Hotel in Miami. In April of 2016, Chef Kev

 

appeared on the Food Network show 'Beat Bobby Flay.'
