Dallas native John Kleifgen first started cooking at the age of 17 when he decided that the views from the snack bar by the pool at the local country club were better than hauling mulch.

 

After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2007, John moved to Boston to work under James Beard Award Winner Frank McClelland at his iconic Back Back restaurant L’Espalier and Sel de la Terre before moving back home to be closer to his family and further from New England winter.

 

After two years at Café Pacific in Dallas John was named Executive Chef at Nick & Sam’s Park Cities in 2015.
